About the Host
Russ Chamberlin is an independent audio producer, researcher, and the voice behind Midnight Signals. Broadcasting from the quiet, humid late nights of Florida, Russ has always been drawn to the frayed edges of reality. He focuses on the cryptids, the anomalies, and the local legends that history tries to pave over.
Drawing on a professional background in unraveling complex systems and diving deep into the architecture of the digital world, Russ brings a methodical, persistent eye to the unexplained. He doesn’t just retell folklore; he traces the timelines, analyzes the old reports, and follows the signal wherever it leads. When he isn’t tracking down the next weird transmission or fine-tuning the audio on a new episode, he is listening closely for the stories hiding just out of sight.
When the microphone is off, the weirdness is usually kept at bay by his family. Russ lives with his wife and daughter. His late-night recording sessions and deep dives are heavily monitored by his official "research team," consisting of his dog, Oshie, and his cat, Benny, who both prefer to sleep through the scariest encounters.
