In 1977, a secret Cold War listening station in the hills of Pennsylvania heard something in the sky. Then it was sealed, with a warning painted on the door: Do not listen. Nearly fifty years later, four friends break in and press play on the tape that was left behind. What they hear spreads from a small-town radio station to every speaker on Earth.
